Production of heating foils. Heating foil is used in heated car mirrors, water beds, heating of electronic equipment, heating of chemical bathes, floor heating, wall heating, ceiling heating, heating of handles of chain saws and snow mobiles. Heated car seats and much, much more…..

Which metal type will be used is entirely dependant on the temperature range the heating foil has to work in. The higher the electrical resistance of a metal, the higher the temperature range which can be reached. Copper has low electrical resistance, copper nickel types a very high electrical resistance.

   (BS: 101 ; CDA 110)

   CuZn30 (CDA 260) or
   CuZn37 (CDA 272)

-  Copper-nickel foil CuNi6,
   CuNi8 or CuNi44

-  Nickel Silver CuNi18Zn20


Strip thickness:          0.010 - 0.150 mm (.0004" - .006")   
             
Width:                       1 mm - 650 mm (.04" - 25.6")
                                  (depending on strip thickness and metal type)

Format:                      available in coil or cut to sheets, not levelled
